SynXis Booking Engine (SBE) Support and Customization

Included in a hotel's use of the Preferred Travel Group Sponsored SBE, all hotels are provided the booking engine including the following customization features:

  • Hotel logo in header with link to site
  • Web Safe Arial font with customized colors
  • Customized button colors
  • Hero Image
  • English language emails for confirmation, cancellation and itinerary*

The SBE includes the ability for hoteliers to make design changes using the BE Designer tool. In the BE Designer, you will have access to change many elements of the booking engine, including (but not limited to) colors and labels.

** NOTE ** New property customization is provided complimentary to each new member property, any new or additional customizations can be provided as outlined above at a cost of $250.00 as a standard flat fee.

Should PHG support be needed, or further customization desired, fees starting at $125/hr. would apply.

Further customization examples include:

  • Upload and apply custom fonts
  • Upload and apply custom HTML
  • Apply custom footer from hotel site

SBE Customization Procedures

Contact be@preferredhotels.com with your desired request.  An order form will be provided to you to summarize the requests; received consent of the order form by Hotel Booking Engine will start the process.

It is recommended to contact your Hotel Revenue Optimization Director/Team for clarity on services; some items may be settings performed by the hotel or Hotel Revenue Optimization Director/Team within the BE Designer.

 

CUSTOM HOTEL EMAILS

The final part of the custom Hotel Booking Engine Suite provided to hotels are customized emails built for a property: confirmation, cancellation and itinerary messages.

Emails are constructed as an HTML file using standard web safe fonts, hotel logo and may include additional stylistic elements from the hotel site.

Emails are provided ‘as is’ and can be fully customized by the hotel team in SynXis. Should PHG support be needed, or further customization desired, fees starting at $125/hr. would apply.
